Time spent to change things Lack of jobs: work at jobs I don’t want to do –unfulfilling Makes you want to do more to counteract problems Money spent to clean up others messes Concern about the world we are leaving for our children Economic instability Time spent cleaning Air: smog + Impact on health Worrying about how to prioritize –what are effective strategies Taking care of oneself versus the urgency of the issues Living in fear and/of violence Having a hard time relating to others –lack of dialog with friends and family Corporate power makes it difficult to fulfill human needs and get justice Corporate $$ mutes free speech Feel less powerful Feel like I am part of the problem and need to work on myself Overwhelmed –not sure what to do Need to choose –healthcare, food, heating, gas for car Poverty limits education opportunities
