Everyone has a garden and it's planned out so we grow different things; we trade

Closer living environments with huge gardens, play areas for kids, wall gardens

Cafes, restaurants around gardens, markets

Goats and pigs freely walking around in thefront yards

Gardens instead of grass

Rooftop gardens and greenhouses

People in gardens, saying hi!

Natural places incorporated in urban areas

Fruit trees in public spaces

Anyone can eat-free!

Guerilla squash

Water harvesting-greywater, rainwater

Like old Indian markets, walk live, use at light rail stations

Solar panels-enough to share,  not everyone needs them

Kids playing in street outside

People children with common goal, doing things for each other

Block parties people of power hanging out with families and regular people

Everyone had a PDA

White folks talking to people of color and vise versa-just because we live next door

Boys "in costume" all understood green (sagging pants, etc, still looked the same but they got it!)

Building and blocks coming together for wind turbines, etc, shared energy

Pedestrian friendly crosswalks are effective

Power takes a different form

Envisioning block by block, organized by neighborhoods

No rules, no right vs wrong, all is right quiet  because people didn't have to talk, they have a shared understanding

Community+ people and nature coming together

Decision-making people in circle ouside' animals circling round at a distance, decisions made with while of nature, in deep connection with Earth and Spirit

Children and adults identifying what they want to learn/do and do it, and this is how we make our money, loving what we do

Several Vegetarian restaurants in the hood

No driveways, just gardens

Bike lanes on every street and/or off streets

Public art everywhere, beautiful cultural murals because because neighbors asked graffiti artists to come and paint garages, etc.

Sustainable recycled houses-from trains, cars, other previously used materials

No violence, guns, peaceful and safe

Tai chi at corner in mornings, groups welcome to gather

Gardens in public spaces managed by anybody

Net zero energy use

Teens exposed to sustainable housing-earthships, cob houses

Homeless people have/find a role and a place, example shipping containers

More understanding around different lifestyles

Old age is respected, accepted, expected and celebrated

Respect for aging and dying and both are easily talked about

We all have access to health care of all sorts

Plant based medicines not pharmaceuticals

Embracing diversity

Euthanasia is a choice

Plants are part of community

Children see and feel their place in society, they belong

Culture of personal and social accountability and responsibility

We take responsibility for being the authority

Girls and boys graduate from high school as a norm not exception (black and brown)

Value based economy

We believe people will do the right thing, trust

Transparency in business and finance

Fusion of idealism and capitalism

Multiculturalism is the norm, learn about each other and cultural expression

Ideas have real value (not just materialism)

These are the social norms

Got my block going, organized neighborhood, block by block first with neighbors

I saw myself collecting organic waste making compost at my own farm

Gutting a building and turn it into a hot greenhouse

I had the vision and desire to see it through

I saw myself making art

Transforming waste like an earthworm

I saw myself learning to garden in a small way, teaching kids to garden and cook

Humility

People were in love with themselves and with whomever they love

I saw myself trying to bring the Rush Limbaughs to this

People were playing and having fun!

We sat on the ground and got grounded!

Sharing the kitchen!

Sit in the dirt, especially women playing in the dirt

I expected to be frazzled, depleted but I was calm and simply using extra energy
