Coloradans For Immigrant Rights’ primary goal is to create a welcoming climate for all people by building broad support for immigrant justice. We advocate for humane immigration policies and work to eliminate unjust immigration practices. We educate and organize citizens in support of human rights for all people in the belief that diverse voices grow and strengthen the movement for immigrant justice.

Educate: Educate across regions. Peo9ple from Iowa for example don't hear much about this and therefore don't act.
My role: Educate myself to form an opinion that I can articulate clearly. And then don't sway from that opinion unless new knowledge make it invalid.
Recognized the fact that we are all immigrants in some way.
People may be more open to immigrants if they realize the value they provide.
Educating our youth and parents to end the ignorance that drowns our country.
We are connected. Genesis 1:1
Immigration rights are human rights. Freedom and equality are for all people not just for the priveleged few.
My vision requires me to step out of my comfort zone and speak out. Speak withy clarity and conviction, telling my story without fear and recognizing the impact it can make.
Biggest impact on changing the immigration law, will be by educating everybody, open their eyes, and take away the ignorance. That is the only way to make people see that this country is made by immigrants whether they are undocumented or not.
What resonated with me...that the visioning covered a spectrum from telling stories to totally re-structuring economic and political systems that cause immigration.
