Education is a high priority, highly funded. Not 49th in the nation.
All neighborhoods, regardless of income have good schools.
Arts education.
Education systems paly upon and enhance diverse learning styles and strengths. Deemphasized testing as the criteria of success. Spend more in schools than in jails.
Adult basic education is provided. Everyone is literate.
We’d be a more sacred place- divisiveness would decrease. We’d be more holy & whole.
More unified. Less crime. Less poverty.
People know their elected officials
We would value and celebrate diversity, rather than disparage those who are different.
Respect for different beliefs, different cultures
Immigrants would be a fully-welcomed part of our society
Religious tolerance. No more religious bigotry, hate crimes or attacks.
We are multi-lingual. Everyone is fluent in more than one language.
Promote a sense of our history, cultural tourism
Promote a sense of place. Not a strip mall.
Neighborhoods reflect our diversity. It’s a community. We know each other.
Inclusion is transgenerational... reaches across generations.
Stewardship of our resources. We live within our means.
Water and sustainability.
Efficient, sustainable transportation.
100% recyclable and 100% participation in recycling.
Improved infrastructure.
Like FDR’s new deal- a program to rebuild our infrastructure and expand opportunity.
Equity
AirForce and Military installations are integrated.
Government meets the needs of people without artificial restrictions.
Progressive taxation- in proportion to wealth
Incarceration cut by 50%
Mental health system is strong
In balance with natural resources & we would use them in a sustainable way.
Civility and respect in public discourse
We discuss real issues- rather than settling for negative ads
State constitution reform would be meaningful, reflect our values. Repeal TABOR
Special interests out of politics. Public funding of elections. Limited time for election process.
Colorado stimulates leadership of the nation.
Care for disabled population.
Rights for GLBT communities... healthcare/marriage.
Higher education system like CA where others come.
UMBUNTU: Defining individuality and community through integration. “I am because we are”
Prosperous. Full employment. Good jobs that are engaging, self-actualizing and a model for the rest of the country.
No entitlement. People take responsibility for themselves and action.
Ability to “live the American Dream”: people live what they want.
Eradicate homelessness.
WE all have a real opportunity to earn a good living, do work we want.
More creativity. More leadership. A systemic vision.
Lots of kickball, soccer, BBQs, in public parks
It would be crowded... people would want to be here.
Schools supported by state rather than property tax.
Sense of community. More integrated. Less segregation in terms of residential and everything else.
Thriving art and music community.
Return to respect for elders
Constitutional rights for all. Social and economic rights as well.
Single payer healthcare. Childhood vaccinations.
Third Question: What would a peaceful and safe world look like? Answers: No hunger. No war. No fear.
Dignity for every human being.
Medicine and healthcare for everyone who needs it.

Economy based on public works, on service. Compensation rewards community service. You can make enough

Respect for differences.
Real investigative journalism with real objectivity. We would not be attracted to sensational.

Recognition of “spaceship earth”
We recognize obligations to sustain life on earth. Air and water for all.
Education- individuals have a deep understanding of the world.

Global citizenship. All have a stake in what is happening at every scale.

Ther are only “haves” No starvation.

We support the well-being of all.
I cannot fear you if I love you. Your well-being is intertwined with mine. As we embrace each other’s success we don’t demonize the enemy.
More one-on-one interactions.
We find our commonalities.

We learn from other cultures.

Freedom to be different. To be unique.

United Nations is meaningful. A process to deal with threats.
