Mission

Let Us Rise seeks to catalyze a movement of people to create systems and cultures rooted in love, compassion, truthfulness, personal responsibility and democratic participation.

Guiding Aspirations

• We believe positive and long-lasting societal change will only happen as we each individually rise into our best selves. As we build this movement, these Guiding Aspirations help us to do this, and provide common ground for all of us.
• Every moment is an opportunity to choose love.
• We believe in listening to the wisdom of everyone.
• We each take responsibility for our power to create our world.
• We believe that real change is possible and that together we can achieve it. We seek to provide a way for people and organizations step into our full potential to create that change together.
• We seek to place the good of the whole above our own egos. We are committed to transcending hatred, blame, scapegoating and the ways in which we are divided.
• We honor the earth and all living things in all that we do.
• We recognize that we all have unique individual experiences as well as universal human experiences of pain and loss, love and joy. We also recognize that some of us have experienced pain and loss based on the color of our skin, how much money we have (or our family had), our family background, our gender, our sexuality, our physical ability, our beliefs, our religion, where we are from and many other factors. We seek to find new ways to work together where we recognize these differences as well as honor the humanity in all of us.
• We recognize that there are universal human needs, such as food and shelter, love and community, a meaningful life. We recognize that there are institutions and systems which work against the well-being of particular groups of people and make it very hard to meet those needs. We seek to create a society which supports every one of us in meeting our human needs and reaching our highest potential.

• I agree to live by the Let Us Rise values and Guiding Aspirations.
• I agree not to post any objectionable material that encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law or regulation, or encourage the use of controlled substances.
• I agree not to post or use the LetUsRise.org network to distribute or send any illegal material of any kind, including but not limited to, illegal material in the form of text, graphics, video, programs or audio. Posting content or participating in any form of discussion with the intention to commit any illegal activity is strictly prohibited.
• I understand that I am solely responsible for any interaction with other members or visitors of the LetUsRise.org network. Let Us Rise reserves the right but shall have no obligation to monitor disputes between me and any other member of the LetUsRise.org Network.
• I understand that Let Us Rise reserves the right but shall have no obligation to remove postings that conflict with this agreement.
• I understand that LetUsRise.org has the right to terminate my rights and access to the LetUsRise.org site if a) I have provided misleading or false information b) I have violated the terms of service associated to this site.
